The researches on the path of life of students graduated from secondary schools or universities are traditional in Western Europe, especially in France. These surveys supply the inevitable information for the system of labour, educational management and planning, and the financing institutions. In Hungary, these types of surveys have been "shortage goods".

During recent years the Delphoi Consulting founded the basis, and applied the follow up research's methodology and its implementation on settlement, county and capital city levels.
